CHIROPRACTOR & OWNER
Dr. Reed Jarvis, DC
I opened The Resilience Lab to bring evidence-based, performance-focused chiropractic care to Blount County. I wanted to create a practice where patients actually get the time and attention they deserve, with longer appointments, individualized treatment, and care that goes further than just getting someone out of pain. Since opening, I've had the privilege of helping hundreds of athletes and active adults get out of pain, move better, and perform at a level they didn't think was possible anymore.
I was born and raised in Maryville. Sports and competition have always been a big part of my life, and that interest in how the body performs carried me into this field. I attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville, where I interned with the Tennessee football program's sports medicine department. That's where I really saw what chiropractic care could do at a high level, and it set the standard for how I wanted to practice.
After earning my Bachelor's I moved to Marietta, Georgia and completed my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University with a background in exercise physiology and kinesiology.
In the treatment room I use Diversified and Torque Release Technique for chiropractic adjustments, along with dry needling, cupping, soft tissue therapy, and functional rehab. I pull from all of it based on what you actually need, not a set routine.
Outside the office I spend most of my time running, lifting, and spending time with my wife Annalise.
