Frequently Asked Questions
Your first appointment begins with a conversation about your health history, lifestyle, and goals. From there, we’ll complete a detailed exam that looks at posture, movement, and specific chiropractic and orthopedic tests. You’ll also receive your first adjustment or therapy during this visit, so you can start experiencing the benefits of care right away. The goal is to understand where your body is now and begin the process of helping you feel and move better.
The first visit lasts 45 minutes. This gives us time to learn about your health history, perform your exam, and deliver your first adjustment or therapy. Follow-up visits are designed to be efficient and focused, usually lasting 10–15 minutes. Even though these visits are shorter, each one builds on the last to support progress and long-term results.
We care for a wide range of patients, including adults, kids, athletes, and expecting mothers. Techniques are always adapted to the individual—gentle and specific for children, performance-focused for athletes, and tailored to provide comfort and balance during pregnancy. Our approach is personalized, making sure that every adjustment and therapy matches your needs and goals.
The Resilience Lab is a cash-based practice and not in-network with insurance providers. This allows us to focus fully on delivering the best possible care without the limitations of insurance restrictions. However, we provide detailed superbills that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Many patients find this process works well, while enjoying the flexibility and quality of cash-based care.
Every patient responds differently to care. Some notice changes after the very first adjustment, while others experience gradual improvement over time. After your exam, we’ll put together a personalized care plan that includes clear recommendations for frequency and duration of care. We’ll also track your progress with check-ins and progress exams so we can adjust your plan as needed. Our goal is not just short-term relief, but long-term results that help you move better, feel stronger, and build lasting resilience.
