Functional Rehab
& Strength
Getting out of pain is the starting point. What comes after, building a body that stays out of pain and performs the way you want it to, is what functional rehab and strength training are for.
At The Resilience Lab, rehabilitation isn't a printout with a few exercises on it. It's a structured, progressive, individualized program built around what your body actually needs and where you're trying to go.
We assess how you move, identify the weak links, compensations, and mobility restrictions driving your problem, and build a corrective program around fixing them. That work happens both in the office and as take-home programming between visits, so that every session builds on the last and progress doesn't stop when you leave.

Why strength training belongs in chiropractic care.
Joints don't exist in isolation. The muscles and connective tissue surrounding a joint determine how much load it can handle, how well it moves, and how resilient it is over time. When those muscles are weak, inhibited, or not firing properly, the joint absorbs stress it was never designed to handle. That's where pain and injury come from, and that's why adjustments alone only go so far.
Strength training, done correctly and progressively, addresses that directly. It builds the tissue capacity your body needs to stay healthy under real-world demand, whether that's athletic competition, a demanding job, training in the gym, or just living an active life. It's one of the most important things you can do for your long-term joint health, and it's a non-negotiable part of how we approach care here.
WHAT WE FOCUS ON
HOW IT WORKS
The pillars of functional rehab.
In office and at home.
MOVEMENT SCREENING
We assess how you move under load and at rest to identify compensations, restrictions, and weak points that are driving your problem or putting you at risk.
MOBILITY & STABILITY
The right mobility in the right joints paired with the right stability. We address both because having one without the other is where breakdowns happen.
PROGRESSIVE STRENGTH
Structured programming that builds strength progressively and safely, matched to where your body is right now and where you're trying to go.
Rehab work at The Resilience Lab happens on two tracks. In the office, corrective exercises and movement drills are integrated directly into your treatment session so that every visit moves you forward. At home, you'll have specific programming to follow between visits that reinforces what we did in the office and keeps progress building.
The take-home programming isn't generic. It's written specifically for you, based on what we found in the assessment and what your body needs at that point in your recovery. It evolves as you improve, so you're always working at the right level, never spinning your wheels with exercises that no longer challenge you or ones that are too advanced for where you are.
The combination of in-office treatment and consistent at-home work is what produces results that hold. One without the other gets you part of the way there. Both together is how people stop dealing with the same problems over and over again.
